During 2007, meetings of the Pacific Coast Entomological Society are held monthly during
the academic year (September through May) and usually
on the third Friday of each month. Meetings start at 8:00 PM, although
members often get together at 6:00 PM for a pre-meeting dinner at a
nearby restaurant.
Four meeting venues will be used during 2007 with addresses and/or directions given in the meeting notices published in the monthly "Bits & PCES". To learn more about the meeting venues, the entomologists who work in each place and their respective specialties, please see:

The meetings commence with a reading of the minutes
of the previous meeting, proceed through the the proposal of new members,
continue with the introduction of new members, visitors and guests,
include reports (if any) from standing and special commitees, proceed
then to the introduction of any new business, offer an opportunity for
announcements, invite the presentation of notes and exhibits, and conclude
with a lecture by a featured speaker. Following the meeting, members
traditionally gather for refreshments and conversation. Visitors
and guests are welcome at the meetings, which are announced in the Society's
newsletter, "Bits & PCES",
which is mailed to members residing in the San Francisco Bay Area (and
to other members on request), and is posted here at the Society's website.
Directions to the meeting venues are available with each announcement. We hope to see you at our next meeting!
